Hi, friends! My name is Charlie Olivia Grantham, and I am a 20 something year old college student. I am currently studying Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies. I started this blog because I wanted to share my egalitarian journey with others. I was a soft complementarian for almost all of my life until I had an awakening encounter with the Holy Spirit which led me to egalitarianism. I now have a passion for Christian feminism and/or egalitarianism! I believe that every human being, male and female, is made in the image of God, and holds equal worth and authority. I believe that being a feminist is not separate from being a Christian, rather it is contained within it. My goal is that this blog will help to open the eyes and soften the hearts of those who believe that God’s preferred structure for humanity is patriarchy (aka complementarianism). I also hope that those who feel rejected and looked down upon will be encouraged by my words. It’s easy to be disheartened, but I hope that this blog will be a safe place of inspiration, wandering, and truth-seeking.
